Åsmund Solberg is a guitarist and pedal steel player, based in Oslo, Norway.

​

He graduated from the music academy in Gothenburg through the masters programme in improvisation in 2016. With alternative guitar tunings and his personal musical style, he navigates through different genres such as norwegian folk music, jazz, rock, country and pop.

 

He has been nominated to Spellemannsprisen (Norwegian grammy awards) two times and won Folkelarmprisen 2020 (album Heimespel).
